I leave for Georgia in less than 10 days, so I thought I should maybe start this much-promised blog before I go or it will never happen. I don't really get blogging, but as a twenty-something spending another year abroad, I'm supposed to have one. I hope I'm better about writing a blog than I am about writing friends and family in general, or else this may be one of 3 posts ever. I make no promises.
For those of you who don't yet know (then why are you reading this?), I am going to Georgia to teach English in the public schools until June 2012. I just found out I will get to teach English to police officers until school starts in September. This sounds like I should have lots of stories. And pretty pictures.
